...back again....KATIE'S BACK! Tell a friend!

I'm totally done now.

But yeah! I'm totally back on the devArt scene. Even though I'm pretty sure some SOB stole my digital camera. I have poetry. And stories. Some really old, some relatively old, some new. I'll be adding them bit by bit from my NEW NEW NEW LAPPY! I have a lappy in my room now. I'm psyched.

So be ready for an influx of art. I anxiously await your critiques.

I'm BAAAAACK.....

I'm in a much better mood now. I went on vacation, stayed me a week in New England and I feel much better. I think I should move there. There are plenty of colleges. One day I swear, I'll just take my things and go. You'd have to have something wrong with you to not be able to get a job in a harbor town. You can always be paid something.

I took lots of pictures on vacation to make you all incredibly jealous of me. Words do not express how much I LOVE MY CAMERA. There are no words. I'm just so proud of my creations.

My brother took some excellent pictures as well during the (very) short time we were in DC, but I have to get permission from him to resize and post them online. I'll be sure and tell you all which ones are his.

My thumb drive....

....sucks the cock. That's really all there is to it. But I guess that's what I get for buying it at Odd Lots.

Every once in a while it's like "You need to reformat, or I'll do it for you!" which really bites, because both my brother and me use the drive. It shouldn't matter that I've been using it on both Mac and PC, but I've got a feeling that may be the problem since it's so cheap.

My point in being so angry, I lost art. Important art. And my garbled, but awesome novel of close to 5 chapters that I'll never be able to reproduce.

I'm not happy. That novel will probably never be finished now. Unless I regain some wild surge of inspiration in November, which is unlikely, because I'll be busy and in college.

I hate the necessity of technology. I want to go live in a co-op.

Out. At least for a while.

So my computer died. Like completely crashed beyond recovery. Luckilly before it did, I was able to save a few things and put them on my flash drive. Score.

Unfortunately, though, it's going to be a while before I get some more art up here. It HAS been a while since I've updated any of my online places. Due to craziness, I assure you. I'm in week 2 of an 8 week internship and it's kind of devouring every spare moment of my free time.

Well, at least, the free time that I DO have is spent sleeping and nursing my aching feet and scrubbing the makeup out of my pores and trying to hide the fact that I'm a chubby little child and these are all tall, lanky, graceful 20-somethings. Hooray for paying your theatrical dues, eh?

So yeah. My new computer lacks any sort of art program on it, besides paint, which I can't do a hell of a lot with. I've been thinking of getting a trial of Jasc Animation Maker 3 (for the 3rd time, I love that thing, I don't know why I don't just buy it) but I don't know when I'd have time to use it in the next 30 days. I have like negative time between being at the theatre and being home whining about being at the theatre. And that would just be a waste.

If anybody wants to lend me their Paintshop CD, that would be awesome of them. I won't tell.

GUESS WHAT?

I've got a new present! I've just recieved a new gift. Well, it's new to me, but it's a brand-used digital camera! Aren't you excited! I know I am. Maybe now I can feel a little better about myself as an artist now.

It's a beautiful camera with a zoom and nice 2 inch screen and a fair ammount of clarity. It's a few years old, but still. My first digital camera. Aren't you all proud. I can do cooler stuff now!

Enthusiastically yours,
FACE
